WESTERN FAUX PAS

                                                   WESTERN FAUX PAS

Before the coming of corn
Chickens never went starved
Best fashion live in motherland
Then he came with his faux pas
To destroy the legacy
In exchange for liberalism

Different sex different shade
With attraction and no distraction
Handing honour and respect
To the sacrosanct body

She also rode with him
With fashion of nudity
Distracting and indoctrinating
Walking in slide called cloth
Baring belly pointing navel

He shamelessly plaits
With rings in both ears
Leaving out skirt and wrapper
To complete trasformation
Or cloning as it's called

Need he to beware
Of jealous god called SANGO
Who strike with thunder
At slight suspicion of being mimicked

Configuring looks is un-African
Outward nudity doesn't go far
In seducing a serious groom
Who looks ability to deliver
Before wooing  a potential bride

THE GREATEST TEACHER

THE GREATEST TEACHER

Sometimes, the path we choose to follow is vain in nature. From time immemorial, God has continued to show us this but human beings are so forgetful and unconscious of this fact. This is the reason why we do things as if end will never come.

The greatest of such warning from God is death but because of our tendencies, we choose to ignore or take such admonitions for granted. No wealthy man, president, governor, senator, businessman, teacher or even student wants to hear the mention of death. We behave like we are immortal; that we come here and will live here till eternity.

Death should be our greatest teacher not to engage in inordinate acquisition. Death, the greatest leveler will come one day and take us away whether we like it or not.

Gaddaffi of Libya  was a rich man, he acquired so much money and wealth so excessively that he thought end wouldn't come but unfortunately, the greatest teacher came and took him away in a disgraceful manner. What a colossal vanity!

God has warned us no to take life so seriously and not to see our neighbour as our enemy. One day, the leveler will come and take both friends and enemies away while paving way for new generation to come.

Methuselah spent over nine hundred years in this earth as the Bible put it, but did he live forever? If you acquire the whole world, the available certificates and degrees, the most beautiful women, the airports, the race courses, sleek cars, gigantic edifices, what is their use when you will not leave this world with anything.

The politicians and human right activists often call for level playing field, and for ordinary man, death provides such a field.

THINK ABOUT IT!
